I found this blog post today from Isobel Blakely. She is currently working at a school for the deaf in Rwanda.

Hi Arlene,
Thank you for leaving a comment on http://ourglobalclassroom.com so glad to hear from you. I am loving your blog and the great thing I can read about. Sadly due to funding issues, our school has suspended our Auslan classes for grades 3 – 6. Our students in grades Prep to grade 2 are still learning Auslan. We are so lucky to have two students in our school with hearing impairments.
This year in our class we have a vision impaired students that we have had to learn a lot about her new learning styles. I am always learning as a teacher.
We would love to continue a connection with you and would love to teach you about Australia. I am leaving for a world education conference in Brazil next week and am very excited to share my classroom with educators around the world.
We are looking forward to connecting with you soon.
Kind regards
Bronwyn Joyce – Australia
